Africa tour day 6 iMuzi Bushcamp

Day 6 of our tour brought us to iMuzi bush camp just past Melmoth. The uMuzi Bushcamp is near Ulundi in the grounds of the Ondini Cultural Museum, the site where the Zulu monarch, King Cetshwayo, built his royal residence which was destroyed by the British forces under Lord Chelmsford in 1879 during the Anglo-Zulu war.

During the day we ventured towards Umfolozi park and around Mpila camp. It was beautiful and a much different terrain from the Hluhluwe side of the park. The grass was green and short, easy to spot those wonderful animals.
