WOW, more heros for the kids!

Wow and more wows, ….here are more heroes that are continuing to support our babies! When Mom and Dad arrived, one whole, huge, monstrous suitcase was packed FULL of goodies for the babies….thanks to my wonderful sister, Cheryl Chow, Mom and Dad and the wonderful ladies at the Penticton Second Hand store! The clothes were fantastic and ever so cute, the large size diapers a necessity! Hand made blankets and made up cloths are already put to good use. Ikhaya babies have got to be the best looking, cared for and dressed kids in all KwaZulu Natal……(of course my heart is bias!).

One place I hugely miss is my friends and accountability partners at the Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study. I sure miss your in-depth bible studies and immensely challenging topics and discussions. No other study can compare! These wonderful ladies took up a collection and sent us a whopping $110.00 dollars. That, when converted into Rand totals R880.00 yes, eight hundred and eighty rand. Enough money to purchase something really great! Melanie thought a jungle gym for outside is really needed to encourage exercise and getting the older toddlers outside. A second option is a beautiful bench for the staff to sit on outside with the babies! I will keep you posted. Thank you ladies for keeping me in your prayers and continuing to love me all the way over here!

Also, Angela Naude from Epson South Africa ever so quickly donated us a fabulous M2000D mono printer. The delivery of this gem seemed to be much more challenging than the donation itself and much more exciting for the “Magnum PI” die hards in us……!

Joerg from Brochure Displays South Africa hand made us a brochure rack for our front entrance…right down to the exact pocket sizes and dimensions! http://www.brochuredisplays.co.za/
Highly, highly, highly recommended business and friend!

HouseHold Needs
4 indoor Waste-Baskets: (medium sized) for the Playroom, Bathroom, Office, and Nursery. Preferably with a pedal-opener for the lid so they are hands free.
Tupperware: We need about 6 medium sized tupperwares for freezing meals and bulk food and 6 small tupperwares for the fridge.
Stepstools: One for the bathroom for the children to reach the sink for washing and one for the rest of the house, such as reaching things on the top shelf of the pantry for our shorter staff and volunteers.
Brooms (2): one for outside and one for inside.
A Food Processor or Puree Machine: We need to be able to easily and quickly mash and puree our fresh foods for our younger children.
Vegetable/Fruit Rack
We need a counter rack and/or hanging bags/wire sacs that will help us organize our kitchen.
Hand Sanitizer and Dispensers: We would like there to be a dispenser or container of sanitizer available in each room and many for stock (total = 6 rooms)
5-10 plastic storage bins(with lids): medium sized for the kitchen pantry and extra-large for the storage unit.
Wet Wipes: We go through wet wipes very fast and we are able to store them easily for future use, so any number of packages are welcome.
Pull-Ups and Training Pants: We need this desperately for our two year old child who is soon to start potty training.
